Fat Felt || Travel Bag

A travel bag is what separates the men from the boys. If you're still stuffing your clothes and toiletries in a backpack before you head out for the night, then you need to step your game up! This bag will say a couple things about you; 1. You are a mature adult. 2. You have style. 3. You care about your hygiene.
Not only is a travel big vital for the every day man, but one of this quality and style is a must have. Wether you are headed to your girls' place, going to the gym for a nice pump, or you're booking a room for the night, this bag will help organize and make your life just a little easier. Fat Felt hooked it up with the beautifully designed bag made from a durable waxed canvas and cast metal zipper. There is almost nothing manlier then waxed canvas, it's earthy and rugged! Did I mention it's water proof?
I love how they added the pop of the red interior canvas, also they threw in a very unique crafted felted soap. This bag is truly revolutionizing my life, giving me a sense of confidence every time I pull it out. There are many uses for this bag, you can use it to hold tools for your bike, art supplies if you are a painter or artist, you can even use it as your gym bag holding supplements and gear. So get yours today by following the link below, don't forget to write a comment letting me know what you think!

Wine Tasting II (Napa Valley)

What's up guys!?
Here is the second episode to my new series about wine tasting in the Napa Valley. Think of this more as a "beginner's guide" to exploring the vast regions of Napa Valley. For this video I visited three wineries located throughout out the valley, they are; Castello di Amorosa, Paraduxx and Silver Oak.

Castello di Amorosa

Ah yes, The Castle of Love, a stunning medieval castle tucked win in the mountain side offering beautiful views of the relaxing city of Calistoga. There plenty of places to roam and explore, but even more for picture taking. This is a must see attraction if you visit the Napa Valley. Not only is the architecture gorgeous but the wines delicious.
The tasting room alone is something to "awe" about, it's filled with so many cool things, from pour spouts, to clothing, to harmonicas, to cigars. They have everything! Th wines are beautiful, absolutely delectable. They definitely have more of an Italian style to them, more full bodied, soft tannins, easy oak, good fruit. Star Rating: 5

Paraduxx

This is probably one of my favorite wineries so far. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the concierge. From there they escort you outside to the back where they sit you down on some beautiful whicker sofas. Shortly after, a wine educator comes over with your "flight of wine", cheers and cracker pairing. They talk about the wine and answer any questions, then leave you to enjoy the wine with your friends.
The wine is phenomenal, they specialize in blends. Mainly Zinfandel dominant to Cabernet, they do have one Cab dominant to zin blend. The wines are more of a medium body, but beautiful concentrated fruit, smooth tannins with a beautiful finish. Star Rating: 5

Silver Oak

Silver Oak was a really cool experience, they have a beautiful modern building with big open doors welcoming you in. An expansive tasting bar filled with knowledgable, good wine and crackers. There is plenty to appreciate upon exploring the building, I even had a chance to check out their cellar.. jaw dropping. Their wines are very good and definitely food friendly. Star Rating: 3 1/2

Wine Tasting (Napa Valley)

Here is a new series I'm starting based on wine tasting out in the Napa Valley. I live in a very cool and unique place that is surrounded by shear beauty and good wine. So here is the first of many videos to come. Think of this as more of a travel guide through the various Napa Valley Wineries.

August Briggs - This winery has a retail space off Lincoln Ave in Calistoga, CA. It was a smaller tasting room with big windows showcasing all the hustle and bustle of the Calistoga streets. My friends ad I had the honor of trying some tasty wines poured by the owner, really fun guy had a great sense of humor.  The wines were really good, it was a first time I had a Pinot Meunier which is actually the third most used varietal in the production of champagne. It definitely made for a delicious still wine. If I had to rate this place using stars, 5 stars being the highest, based on the wine, tasting room and staff. I'd say a 3 1/2 stars.

Foley Johnson - This winery had more so the traditional California style wines, big, bold and a good amount of oak. A lot of the wines were more of a Bordeaux Style, meaning they had more than one varietal blended in. They were definitely delicious! The lady I had was so sweet and fun to talk with about the history of Foley Johnson and their wines. The Tasting Room was really small, the bar was large enough to hold maybe 10 people at a time. Star rating: 2

 Lava Vine - What a great experience! Such a fun time being here, definitely a small production winery, but those can be some of the best out here in the Napa Valley. Great vibes, ambiance and a hipster feel, the staff would literally bring out banjos and guitars and start playing music for all the guests drinking wine.  The staff were so relaxed and super chill, they know how to make you feel right at home, answering any questions you have. I'm not the biggest fan of white wines, but they did have a really delicious Verdejo, along with that, their reds were incredible. I mean they have Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley, Zinfandel from Mendocino County, Petite Sirah from Knights Valley and an absolutely killer Cab from Diamond Mountain. If you visit the Valley and see a Cab from Diamond Mountain or Howell Mountain, get it! It's some of the best and Lava Vine did not disappoint with their hand crafted Cab. Star Rating: 4

VLOG || Los Angeles

Being back home in LA was much needed, I almost forgot about the beautiful weather and beautiful people. Even though it was a short trip, it was packed full of great memories. From the 7 hour drive, bloggers event, fashion week, great food and good drinks, I'll never forget such a fun time. I even had the chance to meet up with a good friend from my hometown Palmdale.
